We’ll soon be getting into Fall Tornado season as you can see from the chart below, which usually sees a decent uptick in tornado numbers, but if you’ve been following Reed on socials, you know that the tornadoes haven’t really ever stopped…

…even though the Dominator F150 was stopped! In the latest video on the channel, you can see a clear case of “Do as I say and not as I do”, and it’s a reminder of when you see flooding like this across a roadway to “Turn Around, Don’t Drown”! Thanks to local farmer Dale Maneth for hauling Reed out!

But this all happened during a chase, of course, and the tornado that set down was one of 5 that did that day. Wild things happen in the offseason, still!

In other weather news, we’ve got crazy rain AND crazy droughts at the same time, with 1.5% of the lower 48 experiencing “EXCEPTIONAL” droughts. Western Oklahoma is getting particularly hit hard.

This is another quieter week, with thunderstorms expected through Wednesday.
